Time acceleration bug

Ok, I might be wrong about this.... The time acceleration factor dosn't seem to affect the the amount of distance covered by the camera.
For example:
Say you have the camera at Earth and pointing at Sol If you set the speed to "c" it should take about 8 minutes to get to the sun, but if you increase the time factor by (10x) it still takes 8 minutes to get there even at "c"!?
Did anybody understand that? Am I just missing something here?
