Celestia's automatic name completion shows the full name of the star.
Unfortunately, when that name is specified (e.g. by typing <Tab> <Return> )
the star does not become selected. Its name does not appear in the upper left corner of the screen. It should.
However, I type the fake Hipparcos number
<Return> HIP 500001 <Return>
the star does become selected. Its name appears in the upper left corner of the screen along with relevant information.
This problem is also present in all of the previous v1.3.1prereleases of Celestia which allow one to specify the starname in an STC file.
