when i unzip the file i downloaded i get a list of about 70 files but i dont see any .exe or installation files....can anybody help me?

What file are you downloading? it's not supposed to unzip it's just an installer... Get the latest version 1.3.1pre9 from here http://celestiaproject.net/celestia/files/cele ... .1pre9.exe just run the installer
