an image is better than a long text ;)

Image

the "sky locations" are in fact "behind locations".

Howdy Gordon,

Just another user/tester here . . .

Did you save a Cell://URL of this for easy duplication? Or, can you tell us how to duplicate it?

What do you mean by "the "sky locations" are in fact "behind locations."? Did you add another planet above Earth, or?

Just trying to flesh out some more info for the developers <smile>.

I get the same thing actually....

Just install the REALLY big set of earth locations "earth-UNECE.ssc" and go to between 100 - 10 km above the surface (sometimes even closer) and all the locations appear like above. If you rotate around the earth it sorta looks like a rear-view mirror kinda effect...?!!

It's just that whatever is directly *behind* your field of view, gets inverted & put in front of you.

Odd, but... no, just odd :)

That UNECE set of locations is weird anyway (example) they have dozens of tiny irish towns, but not cork, belfast, galway, limerick... That's like LA, DC, chicago, san fransico missing from the US locations!

Oooops . . . Thanks for the image Gordon! I'll get to work on fixing that bug--can't deliver 1.3.1 final with a glaring bug in locations.
