1.3.1 p6 - View Options dialog

In 1.3.1 pre6, in the View Options dialog (Menu/Render/View Options), the Label Comets checkbox does not stay checked.

Confirmed.
While Celestia is still running, all of the other boxes which are checked when you select [OK] are still checked the next time you open the Render/ViewOptions menu, but not "Label Comets".

Just downloaded the pre7 .exe file and will be using it now. Is there a list of things changed/added in this specific pre-release version, or do you not maintain a list on a per-pre-release version basis? Just curious.

I don't have a list per-prerelease. I think that the version numbering for Celestia needs to change . . . 1.3.1 should really be 1.4.0; prerelease 7 would be more appropriately called 1.3.7.
Anyhow, prerelease 7 has all the fixes that I've mentioned in this forum in the past few days, as well as an optimization that should really help rendering performance when the camera is close to a planet.

Thanks for your note.
As to version numbering, I fully agree. Right now, the Help / About box for p7 shows the same exact version as p6: "1.3.1", with no pre-release suffix. Knowing which version I (and others) are currently running would be very helpful <smile>, especially for those of us who have several versions (pre-release, normal, add-ons, etc.).
