I get this bug happening to me sometimes, but more frequently recently...

When i'm zooming in or out from the sun (i haven't tried it with any other stars) at about 73AU (neptunes orbit just visible) celestia locks up & sometimes I get an illegal operation message.

This is the message I got when it happened a while ago:
CELESTIA caused an invalid page fault in
module CELESTIA.EXE at 017f:0044bcf2.

My system:
Windows 98 SE
Pentium 4 1.7GHz
127 MB RAM
Geforce 4 MX 440
Celestia v 1.3.0 final

All labels except asteroids & galaxies were turned on at the time, stars were set as points, but the mag was set to 0.8. (Just in case it matters!)

Jack,

Do you ever see this problem when zooming in or out from planets? Or is it just the Sun?

Nope, it only seems to happen when i'm following the sun. Just there when I tried it again, it froze up at 73.889AU, and a standard FOV of 45.

Also it only actually happens when zooming back in, after I zoom out first. I was using the Home key to zoom in, in case that has any effect!
