very distant stars

Post #1by ElPelado » 28.06.2003, 21:55

I was "working" on something: i wanted to put a big star cluster in the SMC(small magallanic cloud). i did it. but there is a problem: when looking at those stars from our sun, they dissapear. to see them, i have to look from behind tha SMC towards the sun. why does this happens??

There is a limit of 16k light-years for the stars to be shown. SMC is much, much, much farther than that.
