Viewing Issues on Planet Surfaces

I would not see this matter to require me to tell you any system configurations, yet if it is necessary, let me know. Whenever I am viewing an object or spacecraft that is located on planetary surfaces, it appears to be slightly hovering off the "ground". Also, just as any other object that has a click-and-go interface, I can still view this object in any direction, according to my altitude, even underneath the ground, looking upwards upon the model. Likewise, the atmophere (please note that this has only occurred to me on planets with atmospheres- not the Moon for example) becomes distorted from this angle, into a blotchy circular form. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I need to know how to post a picture along with my text from my Windows files and folders, in order to justify my dilema.
