Crashes on startup

Post #1by BrettCollins » 16.04.2003, 13:41

I have just downloaded Celestia 1.2.5

Installed OK

When I run it it comes up with message box:

The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x000000". the memory could not be "read"

I am running Windows 2000 Pro and have a NVidia Riva TNT grapics card.

Brett,

You need to upgrade to the most recent Nvidia device drivers at
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

The symptoms you report mean that you are using Microsoft's OpenGL v1.1 software drivers, which actually do not use your card's 3D graphics hardware.
