Additionally, Celestia does not recognize my Intel HD 4400's OpenGL abilities:

Here's my shaders.log, if it helps.

Finally, hotlinking images should be allowed, tbh. :pray:

Looks like this is something that should be given to onetwothree and Markerz either here or in the GitHub site. If you want, I can present it as an issue there on your behalf, since I have an account.

Could you narrow "certain stars or deep space objects"? What object to click to reproduce?

PlutonianEmpire wrote:Additionally, Celestia does not recognize my Intel HD 4400's OpenGL abilities:

Try to update your graphic drivers. Celestia simply shows here what driver returns.

His example showed HIP 60561, so try that one.

This star is not in default stars.dat. Where it's taken from?

I'm unable to reproduce this bug.

PlutonianEmpire wrote:Finally, hotlinking images should be allowed, tbh.

Yeah, I think only Alexell can change these things, and he's very rarely active.

onetwothree wrote:This star is not in default stars.dat. Where it's taken from?

It is in the default stars.dat that's included with both Celestia 1.6.x and full 1.7.0 builds.

My graphics drivers can not be updated. Intel stopped making drivers for my card in 2016 or so.

I have similar problem with nVidia 340xx legacy driver. I have to set on LEGACY_OPENGL_LIBS cmake variable.

Galaxy form was not loaded successfully?

Code: Select all

    Vector3d ellipsoidAxes(getRadius()*(form->scale.x() + RADIUS_CORRECTION),

But other reports are about stars.
