I have a rogue gas giant that destroys Earth in my celestia folder. When the planet nears Earth, I see artifacts on the gas giant's surface. Turning off clouds or atmosphere does not fix it.
System Specs: HP Pavilion dv6815m laptop, 1 GB NVIDIA Geforce Go 7150m graphics, 2 GH AMD Turion 64 Mobile Tech TL-60 processor, 3 GB RAM, Windows Vista Home Premium. Celestia 1.6.0.
