I'm sure that this is a stupid question, but why is there no model for the Apollo 11 in either the rpm or source version of Celestia for Linux? There's nothing in the models/ folder and when attempting to view, it yields a dot at distance and nothing close up. Can someone help out a new user here?

Look in your 'models' folder to see if there's a subfolder also called 'models'; if there is, move everything from it into the main 'models' folder and delete the subfolder. This might work - the problem often comes about when addons are unzipped with extra folder information.
