Just installed 1.51 on my laptop with nVIDIA graphics and XP, and all the planets and moons are solid red! Stars look normal. Everything else looks okay, so far....
Anyone else having this problem??

If they're all red, this implies that you need to update your computer's graphics drivers. They should be available for free on the Web site of your computer's manufacturer.
A work-around is to type Ctrl-V several times while running Celestia in order to select a "render path" which does not use vertex shader routines. You won't be able to see some of the eye candy, though.
Red indicates an error message was generated by the vertex shader compiler.
v1.5.1 includes a comment at the beginning of its vertex shader routines which is not recognized by older implementaions of the OpenGL standard. That might (or might not) be the source of the problem on your computer. Look at the contents of the file shaders.log. Celestia writes it to the current default directory, usually the desktop.
