minormoons.ssc: radii missing for some moons

After about a year and a half (and a switch from a Windows laptop to an older PPC Mac of the same power back in Jan '07), I decided to instal and update Celestia, including making sure I had the latest versions of the /data and /extras files by downloading and adding them manually, I noticed something as I decided to go to Jupiter....

Thebe, Metis and Adrastea all displayed as HUGE moons.... I mean, with the displayed radius of 10,000 km. I looked into /extras/minormoons.ssc- The radius entries for these moons are missing. :( I didn't check the Saturnian or other moons in the file... This is from the current version in the SVN directory on Sourceforge.

Just a heads-up....

Is this what you see?

You are probably experiencing what I did when I tried to use the newer minormoons.ssc and numberedmoons with 1.5.0 or 1.5.1. The newer ssc files are not compatible with 1.5.0 or 1.5.1. They only work with the SVN builds.

Presumably because these moons are defined as triaxial ellipsoids using the SemiAxes property which isn't supported except in SVN builds.

Yeah, I reverted back to the files that came with 1.5.0 off the main download page, except the extrasolar files, which I needed.

Apologies for the mess. :P

You can use the newer data / extra files if you use them with...............

I'm sure someone is also building a MAC version but I'm not sure who or where.

I new that the ssc files I altered to include the diffuse class didn't work. I never tried the newer ssc files with the 1.5.0 or 1.5.1. But yeah that makes more sense now. I thought it was the diffuse class line screwing things up. Learned something new today.

But note it's only for SOME of the minor moon entries, notably for the four gas giants. Also noted for some of the "minor planets" like 2003 EL61.
