Close moons behave like stars

When rendering stars as scaled discs on my computer. The moons of planets also become scaled discs.
When I'm at the earth and turn on render stars as Scaled Discs. The moon and earth become white dots way too fast. The moon becomes a white dot when it's like still twenty pixels.
Please build a control algorithm in Celestia that when objects radiusses are going to be more than let's say 2 pixels in the screen that they are going to be rendered as objects and not just dots. And that objects in the same solar system do not render as stars, except stars ofcours.
