Hello.
Starsystem Achird (Eta Cassiopeia) A & B, a good candidate for advanced life (G3 V and K7 V) at 19.4 ly (Solstation.com), is in Celestia stated to be located 1411.977 lightyears away with a main component 76.98 the radius of the Sun!

I wrote about this too (several months ago). I edited stars.dat file to change this.

Thanks! At least someone else who acknowledges (cares?) about this kind of problem. Have thought about reporting here each time I come up on a similar case. What do you think, MarGert?

Chris is working on a fix for the stars.dat hes talked about redoing the data somehow...Im sure well see it in the next release or so...
Also the stars.dat updates are about here somewhere...Ill link them on my repository site in order that everyone can find them....These fix alot of the current star errors and with updated Tycho data...

There are undoubtedly more issues like this buried in the star database. I'm largely at the mercy of the HIPPARCOS/Tycho catalog when it comes to accuracy of star data.
