CVS Update

Post #1by NIGHTCAST2000 » 01.01.2007, 21:54

Hi to all,
I have a query,I've been updating my CVS version of Celestia fairly regulary using TortoiseCVS.The query is this, when I right-click my TortioseCVS folder where my Celestia lives,I then select CVS update.

The dioluge box appears and logs itself into the repository, and checks all the files in my TortoiseCVS folder and does update the files that are in there.

I have a curious comment at the end of the update session,it says:

cvs update: cannot read directory.:Cannot allocate memory

Is this normal behavior? does anybody know how I can sort this one out?

Any help will be greatly apprieciated.

I noticed the same problem when I was updating my CVS version yesterday. There is something wrong, I think.

For CVS source downloading, the TOOLS directory in the CVS repositry causes a problem that stops the downloading process. Because of it, I have not been able to get a complete CVS source for the past few weeks. Does anyone has a similar experience with this problem? Anyone can help with this problem, please?

Hi to all,
I have now fixed my problem when I do a CVS Update.
The problem laid with the last version of TortoiseCVS(1.8.29).

I have just looked at the TortoiseCVS website, and had discovered that there is now the latest version is(as of 8/01/07) is now 1.8.30.

So I uninstalled the previous version and installed the latest one and the error message I was getting has now disappeared!

I hope this will be of help.
