What has happened here?

If it is any help i just installed it.
Also it looks like the texture is separate from the models.... but it is not with the stars, only planets, dwarf planets, minor planets, etc

Pallas i just noticed is flat.... so mabey most of the minor planets are flat as well.........

but the asteroids and asteroid-like objects are fine......

what has happened and what can i do to fix it?

First, update your system's graphics drivers to the current version.
