display fails with G400 dualhead active

I'm running Windows 2000, with latest Matrox drivers for my Matrox G400 card w/dualhead.
When I set the card to 'multidisplay' mode to show another desktop on my seconday monitor, celestia (what a wonderful project!) hangs. Just as I de-activate the second monitor, celestia get back running again.

You would have to check with Matrox but I think when you do a dual head like that certain 3d features get turned off so that reasorces can be used by the second monitor. Unfortunatly I don't think there is a work around for this except to add another 3D video for your second monitor. If you look around you can find a used GeForce2 PCI based card for like $30 if you look around. This would be a better idea anyway that way you can see all the goodies in Celestia.

I might answer a PM or a post if its relevant to something.

Past texture releases, Hmm let me think about it

Thanks for your understanding.

thank you for your reply, in the truth it's not really a big problem, I reported it only as a possible bug report.

I'm really enjoying Celestia ;-)
