odd visual effects

Sometimes when I move positions or run certain scripts all the stars seem to appear as lines, coming from, I think our sun.

I got this when i ran the URL from the scipting manual:

cel://Chase/Sol:Earth:Moon/2003-08-21T0 ... 1&lm=49152

Any thoughts? Is this possibly due to settings on my computer?

I'm running celestia 1.4.1, Pentium 4 (2.8 GHz), 248 Mb Ram, Intel 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family.

I've never seen that effect myself.
My guess would be a bug in the graphics drivers.

You should download and install the most recent drivers from the Web site of the manufacturer of your computer. Depending on how the computer was designed, you might be able to use the generic drivers that are available on Intel's Web site.

Lol nice error, looks cool too, even though it shouldn't be there of course. I have no clue what would cause that, lol.
