Very strange light effect

Here are, from front to back: Io, Thebe (small white point) and Jupiter

Light is comming from left on Io, and from right on Jupiter. This looks very wrong.

I will never buy an ATI card
They seem to have all the problems 8O

My next Video card will be a Hercules GF4 9700 pro 128 8)
CPU- Intel Pentium Core 2 Quad ,2.40GHz
RAM- 2Gb 1066MHz DDR2
Motherboard- Gigabyte P35 DQ6
Video Card- Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS + 640Mb

ATI has been known to take a while to get the bugs out of their drivers. However, their cards do seem to be more appropriate if you're into "home theater PC" applications instead of 3D gaming. Apparently their video overlay circuitry is more linear than Nvidia's, for example, and the features used for DVD decompression are somewhat more effective.
