I have a problem opening the celestia programme. I use windows xp sp2. When downloading the programme a warning comes up saying that the signature cannot be varified. After loading the programme and on trying to get it to run I get another warning saying
"The exception interger division by zero (0xc0000094) occurred in the application at 0x69296b5a."
The programme does not then open. Using xp to open it does not work either.
What should I do? I used to have celestia running on this computer when it was sp1 with no problem. It was great. Please can you help me.
Celestia will not run for me. Please can you help?

A signature problem means that the download failed. You'll need to download it again, until it downloads without errors.
If you are using a download accelerator, disable it. It can't work with SourceForge. If you're not using one, then you may have a problem in your network connection.
Use a left-click to select the download. Don't use the right-click-menu save-link option. The next page is a download system selection page, not the program itself.
I hope this helps a little.

You might try downloading one of the test versions of v1.4, which are on Shatters.net instead of on SourceForge.
e.g. try this link:
http://www.celestiaproject.net/~t00fri/celesti ... -win32.exe
For details, be sure to read the thread at
http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8334&

You're the only one, so far as I know.
Exactly what is the size of the file that was downloaded when you tried to get
http://www.celestiaproject.net/~t00fri/celesti ... -win32.exe ?
If you open the Properties window,
(right-mouse-button click menu, Properties entry is at the bottom)
it should say (among other things) "Size 13.4 MB (14,083,769 bytes)"
If it's anything else, then your system certainly isn't downloading it properly.
You might consider installing the Web browser Mozilla Firefox
which is free for downloading from http://www.mozilla.org/
It's the one I use all the time, and I've never had the kinds of problems you're reporting.
I suppose one possibility is that the AOL download accelerator is insisting on handling all downloads and breaking things as a result. I've never used AOL.
