Hi,
I have just compiled Celestia 1.3.2 on my AMD64. I did this as I figured that it would perform better natively compiled and because the SuSE version quits when I go to Settings / Configure Celestia. Unfortunately the same thing happens even after I removed the SuSE version and compiled and installed it from scratch. Has anyone got any ideas where Celestia stores it's config as I don't seem to have a .celestia directory in my home directory. If it's any help I am running SuSE 9.2 on KDE 3.3.0. There were no configure errors and the compile and install appeared to work correctly.
Any ideas would be much appreciated,
Thank-you.
Program quits when going to Settings... Configure Celestia
Hi.
I seem to have the same problem. Celestia just hangs when I try to access "Configure Celestia", "OpenGL Info" or "Set Time". The problem occurs in all Celestia versions I've tried (1.3.2/CVS/FT1.1 all compiled from source). Apart from this problem my Celestia works flawlessly.
My specs:
AMD Athlon64 3000+, 1G memory
Gentoo Linux 64bit, KDE 3.5.0_beta2 (tested also with 3.4.1)
GeForce 6600 GT 128MB, 1.0.7676 Nvidia drivers
Could this be a 64bit system issue?
CoolKid: Celestia configuration is saved in your KDE config directory, for me it is ~/.kde/share/config/celestiarc
