Eclipse shadow path not correct

Hi,

I noticed a peculiar problem with eclipse shadows: The path differs enormously for the same total eclipse on different graphic boards. For example it seems to be the correct path through Europe for the August 11, 1999 eclipse on a Matrox G550, but on a 3Dlabs Oxygen-VX1 the shadow for this eclipse moves through north Africa from NE to SW. :(

Is this a known problem? How can such discrepancies occur?

Forgot to mention that this was on WIndows XP in both cases (same machine).

I can't prove it, but I suspect that this is a driver bug on the 3Dlabs card. A number of cards seem to have problems doing texture coordinate generation correctly . . . Have you tried getting the latest 3Dlabs drivers? Also, it would be helpful if you could post a screen shot of the error.

I use the newest driver available for my card (4.10.01.2105-2.16.0691). Here is a screen shot with the shadow over Africa:
