floating square of stars

I just downloaded celestia a few days ago and have been playing with add-ons.

I recently came across a floating square filled with stars. If anyone remembers the floating prison dimension in the second superman movie, that's what this looks like. It is labled m24. I'm sure I'm not supposed to have big floating squares in my universe. Help.

I am running winxp with an ATI Radeon 9800.

Thanks for any help.

Didn't happen to look something like this, did it?:

It sounds like you've got a nebula add-on installed... you might be seeing a 'floating billboard' which is basically a flat object with a picture of the nebula on it (which is what you'd see when you look from the Earth). But when you actually go out there in Celestia it's revealed for what it is, since it's rather hard to make a 3D version of the nebula to include in the program.
