spacecraft only show material color but no specular effect

model of Spacecraft sometimes (not always) didn't show specular effect,it only show the color of material.It Most likely to happens when a planet and a spacecraft are displayed at same time.As shown in the picture below.
My machine have a geforceMX video card
and I run celestia under windows me.Image

I have the same problem, and its only present when you have clouds enabled... disable the clouds[I] and that effect dissapears(but also the clouds)... It has something to do with the lastests nvidia drivers...

This is a common problem (bug?), hanging around for some time now. I don't know, but it perhaps started with the 1.3.2pre versions. Not only spacecrafts, but all models (asteroids, moons, ...) are affected, and sometimes it's very ugly.

Let's wait and hope :)

the promble still exist in the following releases! :(
May be It's a promble limited to specify video card or OS.
but I want to know if there is a solution to this promble.

There is no solution yet.
It's a problem of Nvidia MX Cards, and obviousely there has to be a driver update to solve the problem.
