Now if I look out from my window, I can't see the moon. But the moon is bright in the Celestia... :D

Do you have eclipse shadows turned on? I've got a nice Celestia eclipse in progress.

I saw the ecplise from my window using binoculars and my telescope. Very Very Nice!!! It was my first eclipse I saw since I own the telescope(there was an other one, but it was cloudy :( ). But yesterday was a wonderful day!
BTW: in celestia the shadow is quite unreal... to see somethign similar to what I was seeing i had to put light level to medium...

I had a discussion on this, and my opinion was that sunlight is bend by earth gravity and atmosphere so that there is a kind of (reduced) indirect illumination of the moon during eclipses.

I haven'd ever seen how a total eclipse sun corona looks like from a moon viewpoint.
