So t00fri, we're two french who find your french was ununderstandable...
Dragoon said also that his english was very poor.
I undestood why Celestia is so light too. He'll give this program to a friend who knows the C/C++ in order to fix this bug.
Love me two times, baby!

OK OK, I'll accept it, of course;-)). I really have not spoken French anymore since about 20 years, as I said before. Strangely enough, I am
still fluent; too bad that nobody seems to be able to understand
it;-)).

So could you both do me a final favour: Please, translate for me my above, unfortunate attempt into /good/ French. After all this discussion, I am simply curious...

So here is the literal English translation:

" Having lived for about 7 years in Geneva/Switzerland", I am sure
that the French only pretend not to be able of speaking English or
German. They are simply convinced that their own language is so much
more beautiful...

Come on children, think like good Europeans and chat in English!"

Thanks a lot!

Bye Fridger

" Having lived for about 7 years in Geneva/Switzerland"
"avoir v?cu pendant environ 7 ans ? Gen?ve, en Suisse"

Note: if I were a good European, I chat in German, not in English, becaus German's spoken by 100 millions persons at last in Europe, it's only 60-70 for the English. German is closer to Dutsh, Danish, Swedish, Norvegian and Finnish than English too...
Love me two times, baby!

Celestia 1.2.4 won't start under XP

Post #26by Down with XP » 26.06.2002, 21:07

I found that celestia on XP won't run when I'm logged in with admin priviledges; only as a normal user.

Down with XP wrote:I have celestia-win32-1.2.4 and am running it under Windows XP Home. Every time I try to start it, it crashes immediately, saying "celestia has encountered an error and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Does anyone know how to fix this :?:

Consider that XP is new and new products by microsoft you must pay first before you can beta test ;)
I'm trying to teach the cavemen how to play scrabble, its uphill work. The only word they know is Uhh and they dont know how to spell it!
