Atmosphere & Oblateness bug

Post #1by jakollasch » 24.12.2002, 20:15

I playing around with various for jupiter in solarsys.ssc and found a bug in atmosphere renedering (i assume it is a 2d effect)
well apparently the atmospher is always circular no mater how oblate the planet is
i've seen this problem in the windows versions 1.2.4 and 1.2.5p7
this probly isn't a problem for most planets and is not very visible unless exajurated

here is a pic (from v1.2.5p7)
