Screen font color

The screen font is black against the black background so I can't see the information of distance, time and others. Why is that so and can I change the fonts color to white?
I'm using:
Celestia 1.3.0
On Win2000 with ATI Rage MOBILITY 8Mb RAM
Pentium 3/650MHz mobile 256 Mb of RAM
This is OpenGl driver info:

Vendor: ATI

Renderer: RagePRO

Version: 1.1.3

Max simultaneous textures: 1

Max texture size: 1024

Supported Extensions:

GL_ATI_lock_texture

GL_EXT_abgr

GL_EXT_bgra

GL_EXT_clip_volume_hint

GL_EXT_compiled_vertex_array

GL_EXT_packed_pixels

GL_EXT_texture_object

GL_EXT_vertex_array

GL_WIN_swap_hint

Thanks,
Maki.

I'm having the same problem. I think it's an artifact of only 8MB in the graphics card. Everything else seems to be working fine. I did see what I think are the normal colors once when I tried to run a CELX script, but the system crashed shortly after that. Details are as follows:

System: Dell Latitude 2100, 1.1 GHz Celeron, 384 MB, Windows XP (Home Edition) SP1 with all critical updates
Graphics: ATI RAGE PRO TURBO PCI, 8 MB, BIOS 3.077, BIOS Driver J5.30.1-B02, Graphics Driver 5.10.2600.6010
Program: Celestia 1.3.0
OpenGL Info:
