I have "windows XP" and "G-force 4", but when I go to install Celestia the computer is saying that:
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.

Boen_robot,
Don Edwards is our resident PC expert, but...
NTVDM is XP's DOS emulator. It sounds to me like you have a corrupted binary file: either of the Celestia download or of the NTVDM emulator.
There are lots of things that could cause either of these problems.
I'd suggest looking at the event log to see if XP has been recording disk or CPU errors, for example. You also should try downloading Celestia again to see if the new copy has the same problem.
I hope this helps a little.
