I'm a geography teacher, so I'm very interested in your program... but the thing won't run on my PC.
it's Windows Vista, it's a new computer so I suppose it should be able to handle it. I don't get an error code, Vista just tells me the program won't run and that it 'will search for fixes'....
does anyone have an idea how to fix this? Thanks!

Re: Can't run the program
Did you run the installation programs as native Vista programs? Or, did you use the compatibility mode?
Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I am running Celestia 1.5.1 Final and Celestia SVN 4493
on my Vista machine with absolutely no problems.
I made certain that I ran the installation programs as native Vista applications.
EDIT:
The general problem with Celestia and any computer having problems is usually caused by
outdated graphics drivers. You must also make certain that you do NOT use the Microsoft
versions of your graphics card drivers. Get the latest from the manufacturer. In my case,
that's Nvidia.
Hope this helps.
