bug---

This funny thing seems to happen with some textures:

in this case the texture is to the power of two (4098x2048), its a jpg but its also happening with png's.

what could it be?

Those kinds of defects usually are caused by buggy graphics drivers.
You should download and install the current drivers from the Web site of the manufacturer of your graphics hardware. If you're using Windows, do not forget to uninstall the old drivers and reboot before installing the new ones.

For what it's worth here, I have also seen this behavior while in the OpenGL 2.0 mode. Do you get this behavior in the other render modes? Use CTRL-V to cycle through them. On my machine, for whatever reason, I see this exact same pattern only for Mars clouds. If I switch to any other render mode, however, the clouds look fine. I also have the very latest Nvidia drivers for my machine.

Thanks, Bob

Well, in that case, I'd have to say that it's a problem with the texture file itself then. Good luck!

If you was meaning 4096 x 2048 it's OK, but if it's really 4098 x2048, this could be the reason of your problem.
Will you check it?
