I consider this more a misfeature than a bug, but...
If a script is displaying text in Celestia's display
and the user issues a command which generates a status message
(like changing the rate of time or changing the visual limiting magnitude or some others)
then the script's text is erased from the screen.
Thiis can cause difficulties with tutorial scripts.
There are work-arounds, of course (like rewriting previous text messages whenever a new message is output) , but it'd be nice if status messages
would restore the on-screen messages after they fade away.
