OK, this must be a bug, or else I am missing something. Here is Earth with the Windows build of HDR Celestia 4280 installed, and OpenGL2.0 active:
I am using the default download of 1.5.0 ... no other add-ons.
Obviously the giant glare on the Earth is not what was intended (I hope). Also, please note that the bug in 1.5.0 that created a screen capture which always includes the "save as" menu, is still present in HDR 4280, even though it has been fixed in Celestia VRN 4280 itself.

I never seen what you reported about the "save as" menu but I did see something similar in the Linux QT4 version. As far as the glare, dirkpitt says this is a known bug. Also, please note that the bug in 1.5.0 that created a screen capture which always includes the "save as" menu, is still present in HDR 4280, even though it has been fixed in Celestia VRN 4280 itself.
