Star Trek (2009)

Also known as the Kelvin Timeline, it is an alternate timeline in Star Trek that branched off from the Prime Timeline in 2233 when Nero and his crew were accidentally pulled in by the artificial black hole created by Spock to stop the supernova that just destroyed Romulus in 2387, and subsequently attacked and destroyed the USS Kelvin. Three films from 2009 to 2016 were set in this reality, following the new adventures of the crew of the USS Enterprise that first appeared in The Original Series.

This is the first major fictional add-on project that I have ever started, and it is done out of love for these films, which introduced and made me love Star Trek in the first place

The USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) as seen in the Kelvin Timeline. A Constitution-class Federation vessel under the command of Christopher Pike and later James T. Kirk, its notable missions include the rescue in Vulcan's destruction in 2258, preventing a war with the Klingons in 2259, and its first five-year mission in 2260. It was destroyed over Altamid by Krall in 2263 and replaced by its identical successor, the Enterprise-A

NOTES
- This add-on requires the Vulcan System add-on installed since it is coded to orbit above Vulcan itself
- The USS Enterprise's depiction is based on its appearance before her destruction in 2263, as seen from the film Star Trek Beyond (2016)
- The original DAE model was retrieved from the 3D Warehouse, which I converted into CMOD for use in Celestia. Credits to the original author written down below.

The USS Enterprise-A (NCC-1701-A) as seen in the Kelvin Timeline. A Constitution-class Federation vessel constructed from Yorktown Base in 2263, it became the replacement of the original Enterprise and its crew after the latter was destroyed over Altamid in the same year, enabling Captain James T. Kirk and its crew to continue their five-year mission to the unknown

- The USS Enterprise-A's depiction is based on its appearance during the final scenes of Star Trek Beyond (2016)
- The original DAE model was retrieved from Sketchfab, which I converted into CMOD for use in Celestia. Credits to the original author written down below.

The USS Franklin (NX-326) is a Freedom-class Federation starship built in the late 2140s. It was the first Earth ship capable of reaching Warp 4, and it was commanded by Capt. Balthazar Edison until it disappeared in 2164. In the alternate reality, it was discovered to have crash-landed on Altamid and is later used by the crew of the fallen USS Enterprise to escape the planet and prevent Krall (formerly Edison) from destroying Yorktown Base and the Federation as a whole

NOTES
- The USS Franklin is placed in orbit around the Moon. Will be relocated to Altamid once that planet has an available add-on for Celestia (help wanted)
- The original OBJ model was retrieved from Sketchfab, which I converted into CMOD for use in Celestia. Credits to the original author written down below.
