this is a SPICE add on for the DART spacecraft and the two asteroids Didymos and Dimorphos
the 78 meg zip file
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d9d0K9oIuiLqFcjtf3jayyC60HgITS4G/view?usp=sharingas of today the spice kernel DOSE NOT include the crash yet , that will likely have to wait until after the impact happens on Sep 26
.

This is an update using the spice kernels posted just after the collision
you can get the zip file here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g9JwN6eDHJpQDqvOR1TPvSQy8-hgxzvU/view?usp=sharingit STILL passes through the system Barycenter and dose not hit Dimorphos
the zip also includes a new mesh and texture for Dimorphos , loosely based on the nasa images
Trajectory error

DART flies
THROUGH Didymos and
continues orbiting sun.
How silly is that?

As far as I know, SPICE trajectories are generally undefined. Even after the trajectory ends, the spacecraft will remain stationary at some point in space. As for the xyz/xyzv trajectories, it is possible to define an end. As far as I know, that's it. Anything, ask someone more specialized in this.
DaveBowman2001 adapted this DART model produced by John to an xyzv trajectory created by Limax7. The update will be available soon on the mobi website.

i included the longterm barycenter code in the Didymos.ssc , so that the two asteroids can still be visible
just edit the ssc file
as to the collision see the above post or the discord posts about dart

On the other hand, the textures and models seem to me quite similar to what LICIACube filmed

Yes, the meshes in this addon are very detailled and good!
But the rotation of Dimorphos seems to be wrong; It's not tidally locked.

The inaccuracies in the orbits and rotations of Didymos and Dimorphos bother me a lot... may I lend you some assistance?
Here is my update to the Didymos-Dimorphos system to JVV's DART addon.
Do note that this does not change DART's trajectory, so the spacecraft ends up disappearing at an incorrect location. This update adds objects; it does not modify or change pre-existing objects. You'll have to modify, replace, and remove the original .ssc files from JVV's addon.New changes: - Removed Didymos-Dimorphos system barycenter. Dimorphos is nowhere near massive enough to induce significant wobbling of Didymos.
- Added oblateness to Didymos to reflect real DART imagery.
- Updated Didymos and Dimorphos with accurate dimensions, rotation, and orbit parameters. Dimorphos should now be to the side of Didymos at the time of impact.
- Implemented pre- and post-impact change in Dimorphos's orbit.
- Dimorphos is initially tidally locked to Didymos before impact, then its rotation desynchronizes with its orbit after impact.

here is a link using the NEW reconstructed spice kernel
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1t0r-HhEamxqY0nu3CaSwi10KvxTZ6k9y/view?usp=sharingDART now hits the correct asteroid and NOT aimed at the barycenter
i had to wait untill the reconstructed spice kernel was posted , things do take time

Finally the actual trajectories have arrived!

It's worth noting that Dimorphos's SPICE trajectory does not yet include its orbit change after the impact.

it appears that plume.dds and explosion.cmod were not packaged with either jvv's addon, n3's enhancements, or the didymos system addon on celestia.mobi

The explosion.cmod is on the mobi version of JVV's DART addon

Update to John van Vliet's
DART add-on. Spacecraft now stops completely above the surface of Dimorphos on the moment of its impact with the asteroid instead of phasing through. Thought of giving this an update while I am working with its follow-up mission,
Hera. Will try to replace the static explosion effect with a dynamic one sometime in the future
