Ever wondered what Mars looked like before the Viking spacecraft arrived? This addon represents the first ever global maps ever produced for the Red Planet, each made by Mariner 6, 7, and 9. Both Mariner 6 and 7 are flyby missions to Mars in 1969, while Mariner 9 is a 1971-1972 orbiter mission (the first of its kind). They were intentionally left B&W since all the aforementioned probes do not have a color camera installed.
