Been into Astronomy since the age of 3 or 4. Started making planetary textures back in late 2016. 3D animator who makes high quality animations in Cinema 4D. I find it funny that Nintendo officially called Boom Boom, a "mad lad" lol. Currently on the quest to find a piece of space music I only heard in one YT video (which unfortunately was deleted or made private).

You have to use Sirius_Alpha's exoplanet catalogue as a base: viewtopic.php?f=23&t=18705

Kepler-62f has a new normal map after realizing the old one overlapped the water. Go re-download the Kepler-62f addon.

cloud map sus
looks like you extracted the cloud map from the kepler-22b texture from here https://caltech.app.box.com/s/zg7wwma1rdhik3o666ve98yzcw4wrwfj and made your own diffuse texture
like i did with mine (look in celestia pictures thread to see my model of the planet)

A.) the "sus" meme is not funny to me in the slightest

B.) Yes I did extract the clouds from the surface texture, but I at least also tried to make the surface texture not just be a bland gradient. It actually has some detail, which I noticed was present in the original texture.

why are you forbidding us from using a cloud map you didn't create (only thing you did was just extract it from the texture in the box)??

I am not forbidding. I just haven't updated the main message.

Here are some more exoplanet addons that I made.

14 Hot Jupiters

(Credit goes to fyr02 for the colors, and Steve Bowers for the HJ textures)

HAT-P-2 b

Addon Download:

(Credit goes to Greg on oklo for the original simulated map of the planet)

Again, these addons will only work with Sirius_Alpha's exoplanet catalog, which you can get from here:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=18705

The textures from the addons, again (excluding the 14 HJ's), are not allowed for you to use for your projects.
