This adds a theoretical system of of 550 habital exoplanets around a Super Massive Black Hole. It is based of this Space.com article.
https://www.space.com/40846-black-hole-million-habitable-planets.htmlNote: While making this I had a Blue Screen.

That would probably kill my PC!

Well it doesn't use many textures.

But still - 500 planets

It’s a lot.

Reminds me of Gargantua from Interstellar (2014)

That's part of what the article I based this of had referenced in it.

I mixed the Super Massive Blackhole addon with that of Cham "Black Naught" on Celestia motherlode.
I gave him first name "Eye of Universe"
The 'radius' in the Black Naught addon has been changed (x100000) as well as the speed of rotation. (X10).
For the 550 planets of Super Massive Blackhole, I added 2 lines:
Visible false and Clickable true for LET and LUT5 management in the adds section
The Eye_of_Universe.lua file must be placed in the LET or LUT5 adds folder
The other files must be paced in your 'extras' folder as fictional object.
In Celestia the search is done by the name: Eye of Universe
If you do not use LET or LUT5 you must remove the lines: Visible false and Clickable true or disable them by adding in front of '#'.

How long did it take you to add the LET tags to the files?

Not very long, there are 10 .ssc files
With Notepad ++, and the 'replace' function, it takes a maximum of 3 seconds for each file. But you must know Notepad ++ and use the 'extended mode' which allows you to use sequences of characters to indicate:
\r\n: return and line feed
\t: tabulation
to put the 2 lines before [ Texture "]:
search is: [ Texture "]
replace is: [\tVisible false\r\n\tClickable true\r\n\tTexture "]
if you have never used Notepad ++, I advise you to practice on a copy of file.
Notepad ++ is able to edit any text file (txt, lua, ssc, stc, dsc, ...). it understands the language lua and one can publish the representation in the editor of the language ssc, stc, dsc, ... by giving colors to the key words and the data.
I only use that.

The only reason why I asked is took 2 days for me to add all of the orbital periods and semi-majoral axis in Microsoft Notepad.

The method I indicate is to insert identical values

Ah. Ok.

Great, now this addon will crash on over 90% of computers...

I use a Dell D820 from 2005 and it will run Celestia Origins addons without crashing, but NASA’s Eyes will crash it’s driver kernel.

gironde,
How do I get LET to display it in the addons visibility section?

I still have the archive V1.2 beta9
New addon files like "Eye of Universe - Super Massive Blackhole" must be copied to the "lua-applications / adds" folder.
you must also declare it in the "adds" table of the "lua-applications / config.lua" file. For example for Eye of Universes the string to add is ["Eye_of_Universe",]
the [ ] are not to write but the comma yes.

I've slightly updated this addon. The black hole is now defined as a black hole, and the planets have better textures (from Orion's Arm, I hope no one minds...) I left the orbits as they were, which would actually make the planets too hot (since there are 9 stars the same luminosity as the Sun).
Download link: Black_Hole_Solar_System.zipKnown issues: The planets appear tinted red. In Celestia 1.7 this can be fixed by unchecking "Tinted illumination" in the Render tab of the Preferences window.
Edit: There is a new version now, please download that instead.

Would you mind adding an accretion disk, and if the black hole is an active one, a relativistic jet? I think Vision had such sources in his addons here, provided you download either the Milky Way Center 2.0 or NGC 1600 group files:
