I am curious as to how one can add new and various star catalogs to Celestia? (SAO, HD, TYC, Etc.)

Same here; I'm seeing all of these new star systems with earth-like extrasolar planets and Celestia Motherlode hasn't quite kept up since 2014. The most recent planet added to the Motherlode (that I've seen) was Trappist-1.
