Since few weeks, I've remarked thath motherlode is longer as usual to update :(
Why ? :|

Patience is easy to tell us...but for the life of the site, the delays must be shorter.
If Ulrich have no time, I suggest him to take an assistant :D (Bob, Selden, or ...)

What do you think about this ?

Ulrich posts the finalized add-ons after John has reviewed them extensively..
John's reviews of many, MANY add-ons each week do take some time, however, and
most of the people who submit the add-ons fail to meet minimum requirements for
readme texts, proper capitalization of associated parts (models, textures, etc.)

When this happens, John has infinite patience and always explains why the add-ons
fail, but most users never even subscribe to the notices file to see why their add-ons
have failed.

The final step involves me only to the extent that I post screen shots (if needed) and
then edit the text so that it is in proper English, and explains exactly what the
add-ons are all about.

So you see, that there are three of us who do this on a daily basis.

A bit of patience, and some attention to detail by add-on submitters is appreciated.

Thanks, Brain-Dead Bob

The fact that about ML is told here, seem to point out the importance of certain parts of the forum itself; thus, aside long-standing members for whom the things should be clear about how to do with the add-ons so that their sents to ML can be without intermediation, all the others mighst attend the rule to present in the forum the add-on they would send. For a question of precedence without jumps into the black for the testers. In the same time, should be the right place for a replay and a "filter" for bad add-ons. The forum's rules there are; seem is lacking just an advertisement on the ML's home page. Otherwise testers are stressed too much. If the things are so because so were definited at beginning, most probably they will remains so still along. :?: :o

example : bdfd told me that he waited after an update of Peliar Zel since 4th june.
We are on 20th and he has no news ?

The administrator must take an assitant, it's really too long time :(
No-one is entitled to having their addon hosted there. The people who run the CML have every right to run it as they see fit, including taking their time to look over new uploads, including rejecting them if need be.

They have lives too you know. ;)
