Yeah i knew those two from somewhere! J1217 is a T8.5/Y0, 30/22 MJup binary pair, and J0458 is a T8.5/T9.5, 15/10 MJup pair.

Pre-2009 Microlensers
The classic lensing systems

Montage of the early worlds found by microlensing

Welp here comes the first package. Pre-2009 Microlensers aka Early Years Microlensers if you hate fun contains all 7 systems and 8 briefly distorted worlds discovered before 2009. If it wasn't that obvious already.

This includes the following planetary systems:
    MOA-2007-BLG-192L
    MOA-2007-BLG-400L
    OGLE-2003-BLG-235L
    OGLE-2005-BLG-071L
    OGLE-2005-BLG-169L

A triple system hosting two earth-sized planets and a super-earth

I got my textures for Ac and Ab from universe sandbox. For Ad, since it's an ocean planet, I got the cloud texture from Cinema 4D because it was 5 months later and I got good at using Cinema 4D textures.

HAT-P-11
Just another misaligned Hot Neptune, and a Super-Jupiter to boot
HAT-P-11_toscale.png
The planets of HAT-P-11 to scale

HAT-P-11, also designated Kepler-3 because it was visible in the Kepler field of view, is a K-type metal rich star in the constellation of Cygnus. It has a relatively large rate of proper motion, and it has an anomalously high fraction of helium inside it. Two planets orbit HAT-P-11, these planets being a misaligned Hot Neptune with a noticeably eccentric orbit, and a far-out Super-Jupiter that also has an eccentric orbit, albeit more intense. Again, not a particularly uncommon type of exoplanetary system.

OGLE-2013-BLG-0341L

OGLE-2013-BLG-0341L is a binary star system consisting of two red dwarfs, with a cold, terrestrial-mass planet in orbit around the secondary star. It was the first cold terrestrial exoplanet discovered by microlensing, and the first overall outside of the PSR B1257+12 system. (Other cold terrestrial planets include TRAPPIST-1 h, GJ 3323 c, and OGLE-2016-BLG-1195L b.)

For this planet, I've simply reused an "exo-Titan" texture I had originally made for Barnard's Star b, a planet candidate which more recent research has shown likely doesn't exist. The surface texture is derived from one made by Gurren Lagann, also originally for Barnard's Star b. Gurren Lagann also created the stars' textures, specifically for this addon.

Kepler-11
The first discovered star system with six transiting planets
Untitled.jpg
The planets of Kepler-11 to scale

Kepler-11, also designated as KOI-157, is a Sun-like star about 2,148 light years away in the constellation Cygnus. Announced on February 2, 2011, the star system is among the most compact and flattest systems yet discovered. It is the first discovered case of a star system with six transiting planets. All planets are larger than Earth, with the larger ones being about Neptune's size

Kepler-138
Featuring the lowest-mass exoplanet ever discovered (as of 2022)
Untitled.jpg
The planets of Kepler-138 to scale

Kepler-138, also known as KOI-314, is a red dwarf about 218.5 light-years away in the constellation Lyra. The star hosts three confirmed planets, including the lowest-mass planet with a measured mass and size discovered to date, Kepler-138b, with a mass comparable to that of Mars. Kepler-138d is remarkable for being a gas dwarf despite being lighter than Earth, however in this addon, it is depicted as a terrestrial instead

Kepler-438
An Uninhabitable Earth-like exoplanet
Untitled.jpg
Untitled.jpg

Kepler-438, also known as KOI-3284, is a binary star system of two red dwarf stars about 587 light-years away in the constellation Lyra. The component A's only known planet was notable for initially being one of the most Earth-like exoplanets ever found, but subsequent studies by the researchers of the University of Warwick showed that the planet is subjected to powerful radiation activity from its parent star every 100 days, much more violent storms than the stellar flares emitted by the Sun. For this reason, the planet is certainly not habitable for life as we know it here on Earth. This addon depicts if Kepler-438 Ab is indeed a habitable Earth-like planet

TVLM 513-46546 bug fix

Post #92by Trolligi 112477 » 25.07.2022, 22:53

I did a big stupid with TVLM 513-46546 b because I wrongly defined its clouds which caused them not to show up. Here is the fixed version with a pic of TVLM 513 b with clouds. Not much different though.

Kepler-444, also known as KOI-3158, is a trinary star system consisting of a K-type main sequence star and two red dwarfs orbiting each other about 116.4 light-years away in the constellation Lyra. TrES-2 Ab (update)

An update with a new texture of my TrES-2 Ab addon, which I released several months ago. At the time, I knew practically nothing about working with textures. Now I know better. This update is much better than the old version, honestly.

If there is any problem with this addon, please let me know. But probably no problem, I've revised a lot.

Update (Aug-15): Fixed orbital parameters and added a night map.
