This is definitely not normal. I mean a trying to run SE on a laptop. :toothless:

Seriously, you either have a too weak laptop (although about it can't tell by the amount of RAM), or some kind of hardware problem.

Download the 7-Zip v.19.00. Modern and free.

I can run SE on mine, even if it's only 0.971. I did try 0.980 but it couldn't load some .pak file

Is there another way to download besides torrent? Using Free Download Manager. Tried many times and is telling me I'd be lucky if I get it all in three weeks or so. Using fast broadband.

I'm missing textures for many of Saturn's moons. I haven't checked on Jupiter yet ;) or Neptune. Is there a place I can download these from?
Invisible moons appear (or don't appear) such as Lindbergh, Sikorsky etc

Direct links are provided for the sighted only. :fie:
If your internet speed is slow, we cannot help you.

We have all the maps of the planets and moons that astronomers have published.

Propeller moons are activated through the LUT addons panel. By default, these objects are invisible.

What do you mean "sighted"? Internet here at our university is very fast for everything else.

You complain that you cannot download via torrent and ask about other download methods. Given that the direct links are right under the torrent file. Are you blind?

Yep, I am able to download the files and extract them. I use WIN-ZIP 19 and BitTorrent to get CO as I am able to download and "activate" it.

When I spoke "7-Zip v.19.00", I meant exactly 7-Zip. WinZip is a completely different program.

Counter question: is version 1.6.2 launching without Origin?
There is an assumption that there are not enough system libraries to start correctly. At one time, I also had to download the necessary files for Windows 7.

1.6.2 launches fine withOUT Origin. This is version 1.6.2 launching with Origin. Version 1.6.1 -latest beta also launching fine with Origin.

What type of Origin`s install did you use?
Did you use the same installation type when using on version 1.6.1?

Added after 5 hours 20 minutes:
Install these libraries (choose your option) and try again.

Greetings - MacOS n00b here, I downloaded entire torrent of "Celestia Origin v.12 (30.10.2020)" and got lost in the instructions to install. I placed the unzipped folder in the Applications folder, at the same level as the Celestia app. I opened up a terminal and executed "macOS_Install_CO" which ran ok, but got stuck on one question - it can't find the core? Can someone help? Please?
