Exactly. Previously, it was an alternative. In the new version, it will become the main texture.
We also took your Neptune 2014-2017 (with the corrected color).

MrSpace43 wrote:Where is the download for these textures??? Please link them to me.
Which ones?

By the way, are the textures copyrighted? Do they have a license? I would like to know.

All the source textures were laid out in free access. And those that were created specifically for Celestia, by definition can be used free (at least for non-commercial use). The main thing is not to forget to indicate the author or the link to the source. This is strictly observed in our project.

I wanted the textures of 20000 Varuna, 38628 Huya, 90482 Orcus, 120347 Salacia and 174567 Varda. And the Enhanced color Pluto texture map, and the Planet 9 texture. I also want the new "venuslike", "exo-class", and asteroid textures.

Huh...the last time I checked you didn't like the LunarLambert parameter...apparently that's changed.

FarGetaNik convinced us. And for the first time we started using it in the end of October.

I like the Dying Solar System simulation. But why aren't Pluto and Charon terraformed, like in the original version?

Because we do not add terraformed worlds in any form. In addition, across billions of years, humanity will either leave the solar system or die out altogether. We have nothing to do on Pluto.

The names of all the stars, galaxies and globular clusters are translated into Russian. Thus, our po-file now russify Celestia by 100%.

Do you know how the "LunarLambert" parameter works? I have no idea, and apparently neither does the Celestia Wikibooks.

It's a function that changes the angular distribution of scattered light. I don't know the specifics of Celestia's code either, but higher values causes more light to get scattered forwards.
