WIKI CELESTIA

Really, forums are not the best way to gather and keep organized large amounts of information on any particular subject, like a knowledge base.

They are great for debate and informal knowledge transmission.

What on manuals? oh... Everybody loves them, but no one has time to read or keep them updated...

What about WIKI? It proved very successul in keeping large self organized knowledge databases alive and growing. We may give a try to http://www.wikimedia.org and help Chris Laurel to place a Wiki in the main website panel. Something our admired colleagues at http://www.stellarium.org/wiki/index.php/Main_Page did.

Some current Wiki efforts are placed at http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Celestia or http://www.ikiru.ch/celestia/wiki/index.php/Main_Page and they look great, but a common 'official' Wiki would probably be a great help into celestiaproject.net/celestia main panel.

Sorry, Frank!

And, yes, I have listed a couple of wiki celestia sites. Some look really interesting, but you still need to login separately.
