It is probably dark because it is night there now. Try again in a few hours... Or just speed up time, if you are in a hurry (type L on your keyboard).

And please don??t color your message text: not everyone uses a black background. I use an almost white one. Not easy to read.

BTW: ... Was this reply (below) somehow hard to grasp?

Sorry but I am just new to this forum & Celestia, & I am still trying to figure this whole thing out! (Duh, *lol*) I might come on here & ask a few "dumb" questions trying to figure my way around... So til then please forgive mua!! Another question....you say "don??t color your message text".....how do I make it so the background is not black then??

Simply don't specify any color at all.
Then the Forum server will set your words to the correct color for each person, no matter which Board Style they're using.

You can choose either of two different board styles for reading the Celestia Forum. The Board Style selection is down near the bottom of your personal Profile page. Click on the Profile link that's up near the top of every page you see here.


p.s. I've removed the "sticky" setting from this thread.
