I was wondering if Celestia or programs like it are going to/are now taking advantage of features on newer video cards, such as Pixel shading(beautiful) or other features? Also, NASA has some beautiful model pictures of the earth you might wanna look at using?

It does actually...just needs a few fixes

yeah, but i want more pixel shaded stuff! also, look at making some sort of 3d model for the night textures and stuff fron NASA's blue marble earth globe textures, like yeah, touching them up, higher res for better cards :\
