Hi!
I'd like to use pictures and movies captured from Celestia on my website to promote this very good software. Is it ok or is there any copyright issue
I've found those threads: http://celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php ... =copyright
http://celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php ... =copyright
They are interesting but lack the final answer... Yes or No ? (I understand each add-on may be different and I'd like an answer for a pure-Celestia capture)
Thank you !
Using Celestia-made movies on my website

I don't believe you'll have a problem displaying Celestia screen shots and movies clips on your website as long as you identify them as such. There are a number of forum members that have their own website, some of which conatin pages dedicated to Screen Shots of Celestia on their computers. If you like, you can title specific add-ons pics using the add-on's name and it's creator. As long as you credit Celestia as the picture source (generally), you should be OK.
Hi guys. Listen, they're telling me the uh,
generators won't take it, the ship is breaking apart and all that. Just, FYI.

Cool then.. Let's go !
I think generally the etiquette is to specify that Celestia was used to create the image, and if the textures/models that are shown are add-ons then you should also credit the creator of those add-ons too.
