Praise to this program and its creators...

I would also like to offer my priase to this program. I am still quite new to it.

I am a partially blind computer user, and because of my sight I'll never really get to see the stars; I am lucky enough to see the moon when it is out, though.

I found out about Celestia just a few days ago, and once I read about it I immediately downloaded it. It is so relaxing, just seeing all of these amazing things right in front of me. Just to know that I can sit and stare at the stars (even if they are simulated) is a blessing in itself to me.

Much praise to this program. Thanks for making it so I can see the stars. (I'm sure that sounded cliche...)

I woudl also like to give my thanks for the support for visually impaired users in the registration; no other site on the Internet, that I know of, has any support for blind users when ti comes to entering the special keys. Although my software helped me to see them, I have had situations where it took me over 15 minutes to register.

Thanks for this great program and thanks also for thinking of those of us with visual disabilities.

God bless!

If you want to extend your Celestia, you can go to The Celestia Motherlode to find all Add-ons (stars, planets, spacecraft, etc...)what you want to download
And Thanks :!:

There is certainly more Goodies around than only in Motherlode! ;-)
Many fast-downloaders seem to apply the prejudice of our capitalistic global model that the biggest must be also the best...

Most people for example use my 40000+ earth locations...
just as an example. Or hundreds of binary star orbits ...

The /first/, still existing texture supply for Celestia was my good old 'TextureFoundry'.

[My gallery has been hacked in one of the last attacks on shatters.net...]

The TextureFoundry concentrates on providing some of my high quality textures. But it would be good if I could find the time for a thorough update and completion. Some of the most popular textures originate from there:

my 2k Jupiter
my 2k clouds,....

Bye Fridger
